Welcome to the blog for The East Bay Velodrome Committee! This group, formally launched in November 2008, is spearheading an effort to build a multi-use facility that will include a velodrome for bicycle racing.
Our mission is to build and maintain a velodrome in the East Bay that
will be accessible to the entire Bay Area cycling community for the
purposes of competitive, educational and recreational use. We will
create a venue that is open to cyclists of all abilities and will
facilitate the development of prospective youth participants.
We will continue to update this blog with our progress, so please keep checking back for more updates about the EBVC. We welcome your ideas and feedback about our project.
